Emy Deshotel is a writer and creative consultant whose works have appeared in literary journals, magazines, and newspapers. In 2019, her poetry collection, Perception, was published by Zetataurus Press, and her poetry has appeared in the Huron River Review as well as Paper Cinema. In 2020, Emy was published in MLive’s “Finding Their Voices: Michigan Residents Confront Mental Health” and published “Black Lives on Bikes” in the Ann Arbor Observer. In 2021, the Ann Arbor Observer published Emy’s article, “Staying Alive: Cycling in Washtenaw County in their February edition. Emy is also a contributor on Medium.

Emy also works as a copywriter, with clients in the tech industry and small business sector. She specializes in crafting language that is exciting, engaging, and SEO-friendly.
